Stopped in Redding for lunch on the way back from fly fishing camp. Saw the name Fat Daddy’s and it sounded good. Man the pulled pork sandwich was better than most in Texas. Great food, great man with an awesome beard behind the counter, cool atmosphere and short wait for food. Definitely coming back next time I’m in the area.

Met Mr. J yesterday and was very impressed. I decided to tell him about my Jamaican restaurant that I am opening on February 6 and he encouraged me to put one of my flyers on his door which I did. I decided to tell my coworker about my experience with Mr. J and she decided that she would buy lunch for us today... we bought the Gooney Goo Goo (hope I spelled that correctly ) and it was wonderful...thank you Mr. J

Great food. Haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but I'm working on it. I don't eat coleslaw, but my kids said it was some of the best they've had. Chicken and pork ribs are fire. You need to try it

Baked beans are to die for!! Awesome BBQ!!! BBQ potatoes were fabulous and the service was fast and really friendly. We had Country pork ribs and Tri-tip. Both were juicy, mouth-watering good with two kinds of sauce that would be great fun to just eat! ...

If I could give ten stars I would, if u want some fall off the bone meat this is were to come, very reasonable price! Yum . I can't believe we got this much for what we paid. Definitely coming back! The gentleman working was amazing, my son and me were outside and he threw up the guy was sweetest gave us plastic bags and wet towels. Amazing service amazing food I would recommend everyone to come here!!

Stopped on our way through town. 100% worth it and I'll make a point of stopping next time I pass through. The ribs and tri-tip were fantastic, the BBQ potato is not to be missed, and the Caesar salad was a perfect balance to the sweet & vinegary sauce. But the best part was the baked beans... I usually am not a fan, but I would come back for the beans! Also, no gluten in the sauces or rub, so safe for those of us who are sensitive.

My kids and I went in there today for lunch while we waited for my other daughter to get out of school and when I say the food was AMAZING I don't even feel like that sings it's praise enough! My son rarely finishes an entire plate of food and he at an entire meal from Fat daddies and told me the whole way home how much he loved it! The price seems high until you see how big the portions are and the food is so good it leaves u with a very satisfying full instead of feeling like u just ate a bunch of empty calories! 10 outta 10 I highly recommend! I honestly think it's the best BBQ spot in northern California!
